  92. All ACHIEVE software products are protected under United States
  93. and international law by registered copyrights.  As a shareware
  94. distributor, you have permission to distribute our shareware in
  95. its original electronic form as long as you:
  96. * identify it as shareware (with an appropriate definition)
  97. * leave all intellectual property (copyright) notices in place
  98.   ..and as long as we do not request that you stop.
  99. That's it.

  101. You may archive our programs, unarchive them, use your own
  102. installation routines, include them with other programs on
  103. the same diskette, and do essentially anything you want as
  104. long as you follow these simple rules.

  106. We want the widest possible distribution, and don't want to
  107. stand in your way so long as you are honest with our mutual
  108. customer.  Our normal distribution sequence is:
  109.  
  110. 1  New versions are offered to our registered users and are
  111.    automatically shipped to new registrants.
  112.  
  113. 2  New versions are posted on CIS (Inquire to Jack 73304,404)
  114.  
  115. 3  Major revisions and new products are released through SDN.
  116.  
  117. 4  All ASP distribution members are included in the regular ASP
  118.    mailing. This saves both of us both money and effort; if you
  119.    are not an ASP  vendor or bulletin board member, please
  120.    consider joining.

  122. 5  Then, we send copies of major revisions of software to non-ASP
  123.    distributors who have notified us of their interest.  If you
  124.    are a catalog house, send us a copy of the catalog in which
  125.    the program appears, together with a copy of the diskette(s)
  126.    containing the program(s) you wish to distribute; we will
  127.    send you a copy of any major updates to our software.  If you
  128.    run a bulletin board, send us a diskette(s) containing the
  129.    program(s) you wish to distribute, and your mailing address,
  130.    and we will update the diskette and mail it back to you.
  131.    Since all program copies are serialized by to whom they
  132.    were originally sent, we are able to track registrations by
  133.    vendor.
  134.    As long as we receive registrations containing your number
  135.    for any product, we will continue to provide you with updates
  136.    for all products.
